Fees and Insurance

Thank you for choosing The Salerno Center.  We are fully dedicated to providing you with the best care and we want you to fully understand our financial policies.

In all cases, it is our intent to fully explain and inform you of all procedures, options and fees in advance of treatment.

Unlike traditional doctor visits, which are often very short, initial visits with Dr. Salerno are very long.

  • and then prepare a detailed protocol and treatment plan to help resolve the underlying cause of your problems.

Initial (New Patient) Cost:  $500

Follow-up visits average: $325-$450, depending upon the complexity of your case and time it takes.

*Testing and treatment costs are additional.

Payment is due in full at the time service is rendered unless prior arrangements have been made. 

Payments may be made with any combination of the following:

  • cash,
  • checks,
  • Mastercard,
  • Visa,
  • American Express
  • and Discover. 

For your convenience, we are able to arrange an extended payment plan through the use of CareCredit.

checkboxIn the event we receive a returned check, due to insufficient funds or closed accounts, you will be charged $50.  If your account is turned over to a third party for collection, there will be a charge of at least 50% of your total balance to cover attorney fees and other collection costs.

If you have insurance, we will provide you with the standard form(s) typically needed for filing a claim when you checkout.

*However, you are responsible for filing your own claim and following up as needed.

Further, please be advised, many of the services provided at The Salerno Center along with supplements, are not covered by insurance companies.

As a courtesy, if you need to cancel or change an appointment, please call us at least two business days in advance for existing patients or one week in advance for new patients.

rxCancellations for Monday appointments must be made by 12 noon on Friday to avoid being charged.  Missed appointments waste valuable staff resources and increase fees for everyone. A missed appointment, without a 48-hour cancellation notice, interferes with the practicioner’s ability to properly maintain your planned treatment schedule.  It also prevents patients, who are on a waiting list, from getting a much needed appointment with Dr. Salerno.

Our missed appointment policy is strictly enforced and is intended to prevent ALL patients from having to pay higher fees due to the irresponsibility of a few.

*The fee for a broken appointment will range from $100 up to $250 or 50% of the cost of the appointment.

To avoid incurring a missed appointment fee, please adhere to the following notice requirements:

  • One week notice is required to cancel an initial (new patient) appointment
  • 48-Hour notice is required to cancel an established patient appointment
